Hello,

My Platy tank has a beautiful Amazon sword that I just bought which looked gorgeous and green and after a couple of days this is what it looks like

And on my Java fern, I have some pinkish fluffy I guess? Things dangling from it here is what it looks like

Those are in my danio tank.

Any advice?

Tanks

Thank you!

Well my Amazon sword has a cover of Eco complete. But the lower leaves are still green and pretty. My anubias are reproducing well and my ludwigia cutoff is also growing well with the simple gravel. This was an aquarium I saved so I wonder if it could be algae. It does get indirect sunlight on that side could that be the problem?

I am more concerned About the pink dangling thingy that are on my Java fern.

Oh. I'm such a newb. They are sprouts.

The leaves on the amazon sword are the emersed form. Thats what it looks like when it's grown out of water. When placed in an aquarium it sheds those leaves and grows different ones.

When the leaves start decaying like that, just cut those leaves off.
