Protein skimmers

I have a 90 g freshwater tank and I am considering a back of the tank mounted skimmer (Aqua C Remora or Remora Pro) to aid in removal of surface contaminants and for general clarifying of the tank. Does anyone use these in thier f/w tanks?

Skimmers don't work in freshwater tanks.
