Pufferfish

I having trouble wondering if pufferfish are freshwater or brackish water fish??? And what do they eat??

Green puffers need brackish water and usually won't go for flake food you'll need to get live food or frozen food.

they eat snails and other shelled animals, it helps keep their beaks down. Which pufferfish exactly?

The green spotted puffer actually lives in waters near the sea and when they mature they sometimes move right over to the saltwater. Ive seen some people actually put them in marine tanks but they will be okay in freshwater only tanks. Considering they do have a beak.. And they will take prey on your other fish and rip the stomaches out, not so pretty..
