What are the benefits of using it? Does it work how it is described on the bottle or is it just some more fish stuff that doesn't work?

It's cheap, it's easy , I use it !! I guess I'm a sucker for a good write up on the package !! Hey $7 and toss it in the sump for 2 months it can't hurt

I'll have to check another Lfs . The one I stopped in on my lunch wanted 20 bucks. So I would put it in a media bag and build a eggcrate platform to sit it on?

Amazon.com I buy zero from lfs mine sells the same box for 17.99 all I buy there is a few hermit crabs and frozen food !!!

Yea i pretty much do the same thing. There is a Lfs farther away that sells stuff for just about what you can get it for online . I'll probably get some there .
