Putting platy fry into tank

Although I am not there yet I was wondering how I would know if my baby Platys are ready for the big tank
I have 6 of them in a floating nursery tank and are all doing very well
Very actively feeding. Am using liqui fry and crushed fish food
Is it determined by a specific size or feeding behaviour?
Obviously they need to grow a bit coz other fish eating them
I will have to take them to my lfs due to over fish stocking my tank but I would like them to survive
So if any one lives near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire England they can have them when they are ready.

Generally as long as they are bigger than the fish with the biggest mouth in the tank then they should be OK.
