Question about breeding platty

Curious as to how long to keep mother in breeding trap with fry. My guess would be only till she is done dropping, but unsure. I put her in a breeder box today she is looking close to popping. I am waiting on 10gal fry tank to finish cycling turns out had a faulty heater, so had to replace it.

Yup after she's done give her a few mins and the take her out

be careful if you have agressive fish in the tank with her, after she drops her fry she will be exausted and not able to defend herself from the other fish.
