Can platies live with betta fish.

Yes they can but remember, each betta is different. That all have their own personality and some are more aggressive then others

I suggest putting in your peaceful fish first in the tank,let them get comfortable to the tank for a couple weeks then introduce the betta. This way he won't be trying g to kick out others from his territory.you might see the fish nip at the others a bit but it should stop after a day or so,but if it gets bad separate them.
