I decided last minute to try plants in my new tank. Cycle is finished and tonight I'm going to do a full water change. Fish tomorrow!! I just decided the sand is soooooooo messy I'd rather fully decorate now ...
I got flourish root tabs and am looking for equilibrium (in part because my water has no GH on its own and coral is helping only the KH).
So my plan is to change water (oh! Do I need to change less than all to leave some nitrates? ) and then plant plants and straighten out the decor, fill 'er up ...
The total sum then of what I've added to the water will be ...
Coral to get KH to 3 degrees
Equilibrium to get GH to 3 degrees and to help the plants
Flourish root tabs
API stress coat to dechlorinate, remove heavy metals, and help slime coat
Tomorrow I'll probably get rasboras and danios. Tank is cycled to 3ppm. (29 gallon low light)
