I'm building a canopy for my 37gal. how far should i have the lights off of the top of the tank? 6-8inches? Also, do you think I should include a fan if i leave the back off?

i'd say 4-6 inches is enough with a fan and the back off, a fan in an enclosed canopy really dosent do to much
