Has anybody used the quickcrete brand sand found at Home Depot for your substrate? Looking for a good sand, low price. Right now it's like under $4 per 60lb

It looks almost white and is a pain to clean cause it's so light weight. I figured because of price it was worth it plus I didn't want to drive all over to find something else. I have it in two planted tanks and a cichlid tank

Thanks. I finally got my 125, and I'm looking for a good substrate for it, along with some good lighting. Not real happy with the led on my 55. Probably will go t5 ho.

Figured I'd mention if you go with the playground sand to make sure you rinse it good. You probably won't get it all out so just be ready to over filter with floss or polishing pads to make the water clear again.
