Rainbow shark won't eat!!!

I just got a rainbow shark a few days ago and he isn't eating! The guy at the store said that he fed them cucumbers and alge wafers .Is that accurate information?

try blanching the cucumber. just boil it till its soft. and remember, he might need to settle in first

no problem. mine also eats omega 1 cichlid pellets, some sort of tetra flake, and algae wafers.
