Hey guys. I've recently switched over to using prime and have noticed that the nitrates have risen to around 20 they were 0-5 previously.
Can prime do this or just a coincidence?

I have a 110L tank and when I do a pwc 40ishL is dose the initial refill bucket with 3ml.

Cheers

I would think its coincidence. Doesn't Prime detoxify nitrates? Maybe you should contact Seachem and ask them exactly how it works.

You must have had some ammonia, prime takes ammonia and binds it so the BB can convert it to nitrites therefore raising nitrates! Just my thought.
