Anyone can help me with starting up a cost effective RCS tank? nano tank preferred =] for my desk at home

For $40, you can buy a 5 gallon kit from Walmart, and you'll need to buy some sponge for over the filter intake, $10, then you'll need to buy some substrate, $5, Next, is plants, $10, and lastly shrimp-prices may vary. So $65 for a 5gallon. Probably cheaper if you went 2.5.

i have abunch of shrimp on the way so i think ill start doing that, ill get a 5-10 gallon tank for em=]
