I noticed a female rcs in my 10 gal community tank is carrying eggs. I found a floating breeding net with really fine mesh that I think will work for baby shrimp.

Would it be okay to keep the female in a breeding net, or would it be stressful? I could put some hornwort in there so it's not just bare. What do you think? I don't want all the babies to be eaten.

Hi I just came across your thread, I was wondering if you tried the net?
I have 10 juvenile cherry shrimp arriving tomorrow for my 15g planted community tank but I wanted to grow them out a bit first.
Did the breeder net work?
How long were they in the net?

Thanks sara

I've never had babies in my breeder net I think it would work I do have a crystal bee shrimp in a net he is in there with a potted plant hair grass he is waiting for an appropriate home but has been in there 3 weeks no issues besides algae build up I have to clean up but the amanos in the tank are loving it
