I had 4 I think 3 males 1 female I woke up this morning one male was dead and the other batters and bruised and the last male and female are fine swimming together they have paired off I'm sure would I have to worry about the pair killing my jacks and orange head tropojas there all about the same size ?

It depends how big the tank is. But some individuals can be very aggressive during spawning. Definitely worth keeping and eye on.

I am not sure what an orange head tropojas is but if it is a Geophagus that is a pretty interesting combination of fish.

If the Jewels are spawning I would def relocate either the jewels or the geos and jack to a different tank. The Jewels will defend the young fiercely and cause damage to the Tapajos beautiful trailers. In my experience geos don't do well with stress. The jack may fight back and hurt the jewels but it depends on the personality on the jack.
