Hi all,

I believe I have a Red Lotus (6-7 cm pinking red leaves, a few long stern with floating leaves, and a big bulb).

The bulb is the size of a golf ball, and several leaf-root individual plants are growing from it, some barely holding on to the bulb.

Do they need to stay attached to it, or can I remove these and plant them elsewhere?

Any particular long term care for the bulb?

Thanks

They need to stay with the bulb. You can prune them if you don't like having multiple threads, though. No special care on the bulb, pretty easy to take care of.

OK thanks, should the bulb be completely buried, half buried, or irrelevant...?

Don't bury it or it will rot. You can sort of push it down in the substrate just a tad if you want to help keep it in one place, but nearly all of the bulb should be uncovered.
