Hello all,
I am having a problem with getting rid of the red slime in my 90 gallon community. I have treated it with the UltraLife Red Slime Remover, and my Phosphates are down to 0.16, from 0.64 prior to adding a Phosphate Reactor. So I was wondering if someone can recommend a good electric vacuum, as the slime is too heavy for my manual vacuum to remove from the sand. Any guidance will be greatly apprecaited.

Use Chemiclean. It will wipe out the cyano. To keep it away, I would suggest larger, more frequent water changes and feeding less.

I would probably do more for a month or two until you get things under control. When you use that Chemiclean, you are going to have to do multiple water changes to get the nutrients out anyway. Your skimmer is going to overflow until you have that stuff removed.
