Mohave these weird dark red specks that have shown up on my live rock. Tank has been up for quite a while, but I just noticed these. It will not rub off. Pic doesn't really show them really well. They seem to sorta "stand up" off the rock, not lay flat. Still very small, but a lot of it. Any idea what it could be?

If its hard and not slimy it's probably coralline algae and that's a good thing!

+1- most people think coralline algae is only the typical pink/purple. It actually comes in a variety of colors most common of which are pink/purple, red, and green. If its hard and smooth and doesn't come off easily its a pretty safe bet it's coralline.
