i just received my plants shipment from www.aquariumplants.com and they were in excellent condition!
my question is... i got a hard oval shaped bulb which i believe suppose to be my red tiger lotus plant. What is it really and how should it be planted??

agreed. If its walnut sized, its a lotus bulb. float it in the tank until it starts sprouting, then you'll know how to plant it.
Sometimes they'll sprout in a few days, sometimes a few weeks or a month. If it doesn't sprout, tell aquariumplants.com and they'll replace it. there's always a slim chance the bulb isn't viable anymore.

Our bulbs are always less than 2 weeks old out of the farm. We have had to replace one bought directly from us in a long, long time.

it came with a sprout :D hopefully it'll turn beautiful as i've seen in many other aquariums, thanks all!
