My first attempt didn't go so well, my foam didn't adhere to the glass so I tore it apart and re started!
This time I used only driftwood, rocks and silicone. I coated the driftwood in silicone so that it won't break down or leach tannins. I added a whisper 10i filter to create my waterfall.
Here you go..... Start till now!

My question now, you can see the silicone on the front glass on driftwood. It's bothering me. Should I try to take it apart and push the wood into the corner hoping you won't see it as bad? This will create a little more water area as well. Or leave it be?

I would eave it be. I can't see the silicone from the picture. My guess is that you could just scrape it off with an Exacto knife. Tank looks great, and that was a great idea for the waterfall! Might have to do that myself on my paludarium I'm doing soon. What is the stock? If you're willing to go brackish some Indian Mudskippers or Fiddler Crabs would look awesome in there!

I'm think I'm going to leave it[emoji34] I don't want to wreck it. Next time I'll remember this!
I'm going to put a couple fire belly toads in there.
I looked into the mudskippers! They seem really cool, I think my tank is too small though(10 gal) and I can't seem to find where to purchase them. Maybe if I go bigger someday!

From what I've read, mudskippers max out at around 1-2", so you would be fine if you wanted to. I've looked and looked and looked for places to order them online, but I can't find anything  Fire belly toads are cool, but just a word of caution: No fish because they will a) become food or b) die from the toxins that the FBT release into the water. But I'm sure you knew that already :)

That looks incredible!!! What are you putting in it?

A couple fire belly toads! I was originally thinking dart frogs, but I think I have too much water for them

Thank you! Pilea Aqua on top, a wandering Jew with its roots in filter water, a pepornia and polka dot plant on bottom. There is some moss on driftwood. No aquatic plants....yet

I would look into some nice tough plants because I bet the frogs will be uprooting a lot of stuff. Maybe some hornwort or anacharis? Java fern, anubias and java moss would all be good candidates as well :)

Be prepared to trim that wandering jew. When I had dart frogs it took over my 20 long in a very short time! It looks good though

Thanks! I have the roots in the back of the filter in the water, do you think it will be ok like that?

I'll look into those! They are for the "land" area? I tried to place the plants so the frogs can't really get around them..... We'll see!

No, all the plants listed are aquatic. I don't know many land plants. But I did pick up a sweet little plant from Harris Teeter yesterday......

Don't know if you can see it though.

LOVE this tank. What silicone did you use? Where did you find the river rocks? And what land plants do you have?
