Hey guys just got in my Refractometer from Marine Depot. One Question and it's probably the dumbest one ever but When it says to add Distilled Water? Is that the same thing as RO/Di water?

Technically distilled water hasn't gone through the reverse osmosis process, so technically it is different.

However, for the reason of calibration, which is what the thing wants you to do, RO/DI is fine.

Keep in mind now you only have it calibrated at 0. I highly suggest you get a bottle of Pinpoint calibration fluid so you can calibrate it at 35 ppt.
My refracto reads slightly under 0 with RO when calibrated at 35 ppt.

I agree with Larry, get something that you know should be at 0 and go from there.
