I got bored while sitting here on vacation, so I decided to rescape. I removed my slate rock cave and TONS of java moss. I traded that and some of my wifes guppies for some serpae tetras (5). I did not buy any new plants. These are all plants I already own. Some of these are in rough shape due to all the java moss robbing ferts.

Please excuse the clouded water, it was a busy day in aqua-world.

Here is the before. This is around the time the java moss exploded.

Removed cave and moss. I also uprooted all my plants to restart.

Plants are replanted and serpae's are waiting on their new home. Lights are off because it has been a stressful day for the fishies.

Everything is planted and serpae's are released, lights are now on.

This is just the start. I am buying more plants soon.

Constructive Criticism is always welcome.

I'm thinking that the left side of the tank need some green, so maybe some carpet plant, or start a new java moss tree? c. parva, dwarf sag, dwarf haigrass or something like that would look nice I think.

That java moss is some of the healthiest I've ever seen. I still can't get my java moss that light green. It always stays forest green. I hear it's due to warm water...

I think since mine was so close to the top it got most of the ferts. It was also right next to my co2.

Nice. Kinda like a river bank tank. I would throw some more rock in there.

Hmm, never thought of a river tank. Should I add more and raise the plants making more of a bank?

I got a TON of dwarf sag and small vals. let me know if you are interested Jason.

My 210 exploded with plants.

Thanks WhiteDevil but I went today to my lfs and picked some up.

I also thought of adding more nana's to the tank. I want something that is bushy but I dont know what yet. Right now I am going to let everything fill out and I will see what it's missing.

I think it looked really really nice before. The only thing it was a little crowded with the Java Moss. It looks nice now, but I would put back the slate and a couple rocks because those looked super nice!

Good job though.

Well I'm not totally sure if I have java moss either it is a moss though and its no where near the light green its supposed to be, its dark green and hasn't been doing much in my tank other than looking like its decomposing........
