My landlord just installed a water softener to the entire house, there is no bypass. I am ready to buy a RO/DI unit and have been researching all day to find the best way to add minerals back into the water. I am confused. There are products that add to GH but won't add KH. How do I obtain the balance without swings? I have all low tech plants, betta, pea puffer, Rili shrimp and snails. I have to re-home the others. Any advice would be appreciated. I have nothing to top off the tanks with now.
Thanks:confused:

Top off tank with pure RO.

gH Booster:

CaSO4 - Dose to reach 30 - 40 ppm Ca.

MgSO4 - Dose to reach 10 ppm Mg.

K2SO4 - Dose to reach your target K levels (if plants, if no plants don't bother)

kH Booster

KHCO3 or K2CO3 to yield 2 degrees kH.
