I recently got a 1 1/2 " convict and a 2" Honduran red point. Guess who's breeding? Yup, not what I planned. They are terrorizing the whole tank! (40 B) I didn't research to find out how closely they are related until too late. I'm sure that the convict was Prego when we got her 2weeks ago, but the Red Point is helping guard their cave. Question is, now what? I don't want fry! If I put the red point in another tank will the convict fry get eaten by the other fish in our tank? Do I need to move the convict to calm things down! Do I need to rehome them? Can the red point go in a 55g with 3-4"Malawi cichlids?
