Would a school of 3 of each get along? My sister bought 3 what she thought were rosy barbs, but 1 is a glolite. I suggested she get a 2 more glolites and 1 more barb, but I'm not entirely sure they will play nice together I've never kept either.

if theres room for them to school seperatly they'll be fine
i would recomend 3 more glolites and 2 more rosy barbs
most barbs and glolites like to be in a school of 4+

how much space does she have? both of these fish are happiest in groups, and the bigger the group, the more beautiful and striking they look.

temporarily in a 5, will be in a 10 in a few weeks (they are about 1/2 an inch). I suggested she get the extra barb and 2 buddies for the glolite because the 2 barbs seemed to chase the glolite away when it tried to school with them, I'm hoping that 2 of his own the glolite will be a little more secure with some to school with.

Rosy barbs get big, and IMO should not be in a 10 gallon tank.
