Running Carbon

Just picked up Marineland premium activated carbon. I plan on throwing some in a media bag but it doesnt really give instructions. What steps does everyone typically take in adding carbon. Rinse? Thanks in advance.

Yes you have to rinse it first. A couple questions tho, how big is your tank, and what kind of filter do you have?

75 gal with 20 gal sump so I am adding it inside the sock. Also a 26 gal bowfront with an aqueon 10 that I have a media bag with pura complete inside.

Oh if its Saltwater then I'm not really sure, sorry but I'm sure someone else will chime in with more knowledge than me
