I have black sand substrate and over the last week or so the right front corner seems to have fallen down some how. it is almost like whatever was holding that corner of sand up has collapsed. Obviously this is not the case because that would mean my tank has a hole there and it would drain down. Anyway, i have a huge colony of mts as well as four clea helena. Is it possible the snails are what moved the sand that much?
I don't notice my fish doing any of the sand shifting, but I will include my stock just to cover that.
It is a 60 gallon 48x12x24
10 neon tetras
4 otocinclus
3 guppies
3 red wag platies
3 angelicus botia
1 dwarf gourami
and a colony of rcs, but they have plenty of moss, plants and holes in driftwood to hide.
again, i have a lot of mts, but rarely see them. they are typically in the sand, but on occasion i can see hundreds of them, but that is kinda rare to see them.
