So I had a tank set up for my daughter cycling in her room it was almost done cycling when she thought it was a good idea to put cheese and soap and IDK what else in the aquarium and it was there for a couple days before I noticed (smelled it)... I have everything taken out rinsed in hot water and whipped down... What is my best wait to sterilize everything? It's a 20 gallon tank... I was going to run th fillter in a bucket of a very watered down bleach solution for a day or so then run it in the bucket of plain water for a week to make sure there is no resadue... She's old enough to know the difference and understand what she did but IDK why she did it she really wanted the betta fish...shes not getting it now needless to say..... So what would your suggestion be? All input appreciated
