So I don't have a lot of options around me for aquatic plants, and I wanted to incorporate some red into my planted tank. I was at the local LFS and I saw that he had some Red Ammannia and Rotalla Indica? in the bottom tanks. They did not look all that great, the leaves were still attached, but you could tell the lighting was not enough, had some pin holes in some of the leaves.

I bought it anyways ($8 for quite a bit of it) thinking I might be able to revive them with some Co2 and high lighting. So i cleaned them very delicately in the sink, and then replanted them in my tank. Is there any chance I can bring them back from the brink of death? Has anyone pulled something like this off before?

they should be fine as long as the stem is still alive the dieing leaves don't matter. with plants that i find like that they go straight into my high light co2 an usually bounce back quickly.

Thanks, I just didn't know if there is any extra care I have to provide for them to recover, or if its even possible.

Thanks Caleb, I am still very green with plants (no pun intended), so it would be a big step for me if I can pull it off!
