Does any body know what this is? Looks like scale loss. She doesn't act sick. No fin nips. Maybe just an injury??

How did it turn out? Could she have gotten wedged into something?

Krista, is your tank covered? How's temperature (room/water)? Is there any aearation (bubbling stone) in a tank?

I think she could have been wedged somewhere. Yes there is aeration and the tank stays in the green on temps. She's doing fine and acting normal. It does look like it may be healing. I'm going to keep up the water changes and hope for the best. Thanks!!

That same kind of injury happened to my Keyhole Cichlid. He such a wimp, he probably ran into something and had the same kind of marking on his head.
