Sea hare question

So I had a big algae problem in my smaller tank I bought a Sea hair to help clean it up. Which it did awesome so now I have a new established 55 gallon aquarium do I move the sea hair over or not I have heard so many stories. I'm planning on not keeping my smaller tank.

If you don't have any hair algae in the new one it'll probably starve to death :-(

Sea hares are greedy creatures, they require food to live, +1 to starving to death.
