Seachem Paraguard with shrimp?

Has anyone else used Paraguard in a tank with RCS, any issues with it?

Unknown virus or parasite, can't get any good visual symptoms, just a fish dying almost everyday or other day.

Rather than the paraguard i would give metronidazole medicated food a try. Its effective against some bacteria as well as internal parasites.
