My new pet seahorses just arrived. I think they are juveniles, but not sure which species. I am debating between kuda or erectus.

I have them in a 12g JBJ NanoCube. One banded pipefish, one dragonface pipefish, one peppermint shrimp, 5 turbos and 6 small hermit crabs.

12 gallons with 2 pipefish AND 2 seahorses? I might be missing something in the fine art of pipefish...but that sounds like to many fish per gallon to me.

That tank may be too small for those seahorses and pipefish o.o
I have 2 in a 29 gallon tank and another 3 in a 40 gallon with no other fish

They seem okay right now. I am not sure whether they were wild caught or captive bred. I started off feeding them with live brine shrimp and frozen newly hatched brine. They are eating well.

I will probably try and feed them frozen mysid shirmp after. I am not sure how old they are. I got them as a Christmas gift, and was told the pet owner was uncertain either, so I am trying to figure out whether they are wild or captive.
