Hi All,
Hoping for some answers....here's a little background info. Started tank cycle 1-14-12 and did a fish less cycle. After i FINALLY cycled i Added 4 spotted cories on 3-2-12. Then added 3 Von Rio tetra and 3 black phantom tetra on 3-10-12 and two weeks later added 3 more of each tetra. Everything has been going good since then. I do 80-90% water change bi-weekly. About two weeks ago I noticed a Von Rio swimming funny, looked like he was laying on his side trying to swim. He never got more then an inch or so off the substrate. His gills didn't look like he was struggling and his body looked fine. Needless to say the poor little guy didn't make it. I woke up yesterday and now I have another Von Rio doing the same thing. My water is testing (consistently) at ammo 0, nitrites 0, nitrates slightly over 10ppm (hard to differentiate) and ph 7.6. Any suggestions? I'm getting discouraged oh, the temp is between 77-78 degrees. Thanks in advance
