So one of my Serpae Tetras has a mysterious lump on his noggin..

Could anyone tell me what it is? Is he a gonner or will he effect any other tank mates?
:thanks:

Picture of him: you can see the white bump in the reflection

Is there anything in the tank he might have bumped his head into?

What tank mates?
Has this happened in the past or do any other fish have this problem?

well he could have bumped it on anything lol.. but this is the only fish with it and he is still acting fine, think its just a bump?

How are your water parameters (amm/nitrite/nitrate)? Im not 100% sure of what exactly it is. So, my best advice would be to watch the bump & your fish. If your fish starts acting strangely (not eating, swimming differently, flashing, etc) or the bump starts to change for the worse (gets fuzzy, grows in size, looks bloody, etc), please let us know & we will figure out the best way to help him.
