serpent star lost a leg

my serpent star lost one of his legs. he was under the rock that i attachalgea too and it got stuck in the rubber band. will he be alright? will it regrow?

It's arm should regrow. When I bought my brittle star it only had 2 complete legs but now (a year later) all 5 of the arms are the same size and length.

well, when i went home for lunch a bristle worm was eating off of the area where the leg was. i hope he can survive that!
