Sorry I thought they were all the same fish, but yes they're both male. Females tend to have a beard of blue spanges around the chin plate.

Yup..they had a sale on them for $2.50 at my petsmart. It's hard to tell when they're little..it is quite easy when they're older. I think I got a male..

Ohh. Yeah..the "bigger" ones were the same size so I just got a small lol. Was gonna get 2 but I couldn't tell if they had any females..I didn't see a anything.
