Looking to get another of the opposite sex.

I'm thinking male. Though I don't have any myself I'm looking into getting them soon, from what I've read is if dorsal fin is pointed at end it is a male, also is if anal fin extends past where body stops is male. Lastly is on males there will be no blue sheen showing through on black spot on side. Not an expert by any means but that's what I'm seeing.
