Sexing a dwarf lion.

I got a lionfish a few months ago, and now I'm questioning if it's male or female? Some places said if it has 6 or less stripes it's a female 6 or more and it's male. Mine either has 6 or 7, I don't know if I should include the one right close to his face.

I believe it's only the lines on the pectoral fins that you count.
