Trying to sex mystery snails for the first time and I am struggling haha. They were kept together for a year + and never produced any offspring so I would guess that they are the same sex but am really not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pictures 1 & 2 are snail 1. Pictures 3 & 4 are snail 2.

Also I have 2 younger mystery snails in another tank who have just reached sexual maturity and produced their first clutch. I'd like to separate them for population control and will be switching one of them with one of the pictured snails. Can I assume that the one attaching itself to the other is the male or do I have to actual pull them out to view their sexual organs to tell?

The snail that climbed on top is the boy, inside the boy's shell is what looks like a banana sorry don't know how to explain it and has extra fold of skin and the girls look empty? To me top pics are boy and bottom girl.
