I found a 55g aquarium with stand on eBay for $100 and he said the price was up for negotiation there aren't any cracks or any damages so should I get it?

My experience I've usually done better on Craigslist. The $1/gallon deal sounds great.

Forget the 55, look for a deal on a used 75. Much better stocking options there.
