can i use it if i treat it with prime?

Wow, thats Some information you looked up there ;) I think if you treated it with a good dechlorinator, It should be safe to use.

I use PRIME atm but on jugs of water that I buy at walmart but after water changes every three days it can be pricey for my two bettas so i wanted to try something new.

SN: You can find all sorts of information on the site I pulled that off of, now my roomie and i are looking at sex offenders

If you drink your tap water, it should be fine for your fish.

Prime and AquaSafe are both good. Around me, Prime is a little cheaper per gallon treated.

I usually don't drink it. neither does my roommate. its not safe for kidney dialysis patients. so we don't feel as if it is safe for us.

It's fine. Your tap water has to be safe for human consumption (fish will live with it too, just dechlorinate it). Unless of course you're in Mexico! :usa

Tap water kills beneficial bacteria in the aquarium filter. That guy who says tap water is safe for fish - get some research done!

Always treat tap water with a dechlorinator!
