~ How large is the tank? How long has the tank been set up? 10 gal. tank. running for 7 1/2 months.

~How many fish are in the tank? 11 What kinds of fish are they and what are their current sizes? 7 neon tetras (almost full grown)3 otos small , a dwarf gourami, almost full grown.
~When is the last time you did a water change and vacuum the gravel? How often do you do this? How much water do you remove at a time?Sunday the 14 i removed 50 %
~How long have you had the fish? If the fish is new, how did you acclimate it/them? for about 2 months...i floted the bag for 20 min.
~Have you added anything new to the tank--decor, new dechlorinator, new substrate, etc.? nope
~What kind of food have you been feeding your fish, have you changed their diet recently? Im feeding freeze dried Bloodworms, tropical flakes.... AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH I SAW THAT IN MOST CASES WHEN YOU SEE THAT YOUR FISH HAS DROPSY, ITS TOO LATE....SO I DECIDED TO 'PUT HIM AWAY' (I COULDNT RISK MY OTHER FISH)

Yeah, im kinda sad too, I never tought one could get emotionally attached to a fish. but I felt it was the right thing to do, since im not very good at treating fish disease, (especiallly 'dropsy') so I decided to put him away( i put him on a bag full of icewater and he died on contact with water)....he wasnt eating or doing anything he was just staying on a corner near the surface.....Now my tank seems kinda empty. thanks for your replies. P.S. When is it safe add another fish to the tank? When I took the Gourami out i did a 30% water change....and none of my fish seem affected.
