Sik Gourami or not/Chinies frozen food.

One off my Gouramis has this white spot on his head.
Can anybody tell me what this is and what to do if this is something bad.
He does not seem sick . I lost one few weeks ago when his eye seemed to pop out and his mouth and gills seemed swollen.

Another matter.
I have recently started feeding my fish with frozen food from China.
Does anybody have opinion on such food. Blood worms and Artemia.

My brine shrimp and bloodworms are straight from china. I pay less than $1 a pack vs $8 a pack @ lfs.... never had an issue. I even feed my leopard ctenopomas live foods - and they still greedily accept the frozen foods...

I think the issue is with water params.
