Silver Dollar Fin Rot?

We recently bought 2 silver dollars, a male and a female, and one of them looks like something is wrong with its fins. We were thinking maybe fin rot. Could you help us tell what it is and how to cure it. Also, will it kill the fish?

Maybe fin rot. Maybe it was beaten up at the store. Add some API stress coat to the aquarium or some aquarium salt. It will live if your water quality is good. I would take action soon though because you dont want it to spread to other fish
