Skimmer Hunt

Hi all,

I'm trying to put together a 50g hex front flat back tank I "inherited". It's already up and running. Crabs ands snails seem pretty happy.

I'm thinking I need to add a skimmer to the system. I have a sump (it's an old wet/dry - removed the bio balls), but the cabinent only has 20" height available. I don't have room for a hang on, there's only 4" between the tank and the wall. I'd really not like to put one on the floor next to it either if possible.

I'm trying to sort through all the offerings out there without spending $300+.

Any suggestions?

it will fit in the 4" between the wall.

Ocotpus, probably an 100 series would do you fine. They are great skimmers.. $125 or so tooooo
