Hey i just hooked this thing up in my room and seems to be running great, my only thing i dont like is the noise. The pump isnt that loud more like a hum but when the air hits the pump it makes a weird sound, im not talking about the air intake but the mixture of air and water. It also makes like a water running down a pipe sound in the pipe that feeds water to the pump. Should this go away after thr break in? Also i turn the skimmer off at night b/c of noise, does this disturb the break in period? Does anyone have this skimmer? Please lmk

I personally don't like the idea of turning a skimmer off. One thing you might do is take the skimmers pump apart and clean it. I had awful trouble with the pump on my ro skimmer until I did so. It will also let you see I'd the propeller is damaged or anything else that could be a cause of the issue.
