ok, im trying to figure out why this is happening... my skimmer is shooting bubbles into the tank, yes get ready to flame away for my cheap purchase.

its a seaclone 100.. yes, sad.

anyways, its shooting small bubbles into the tank.. is something wrong here ?

ya, I used to get ridiculous amounts of bubbles from my el-cheapo HOB skimmer. However it is my understanding though that it takes a little time for one to "season" - I can say this from experience now because mine used to produce annoying ammounts of bubbles too and not only that but the collection cup seemed to fill up very quickly (if that is also the case with yours?) and after a while it seemed to calm down and not fill up so fast and not produce as many bubbles, still some but not at all like before, and the collection cup seemed to get actual "crud" in it. so ya, hope this helps.

well if they take longer to season, i think that might be the problem

i was trying to find a happy medium...

but I mean is it normal for the skimmer to shoot any bubbles, at all into the tank ?

You dont want any bubbles going into your tank
