Skimmer

I have a 38 gal tank and need a protein skimmer. I looked at the "COUNTER CURRENT PROTEIN SKIMMERS BY LEE'S". I dont think I like the idea that it needs an air pump. Does anyone have any suggestions that would be less than $50?

try to find a used one on ebay or at the LFS, you wont find a quality new skimmer for under $100.

coralife super skimmer might be a good choice for a tank that size. aqua-c remora is more expensive but it works better.

I dont think you`ll find a quality skimmer for under 50 dollars. A long time ago I used a skilter skimmer that might be around 50 dollars now but I did not consider it a quality skimmer. I really did not consider it a good skimmer.
