Slimy spot on coral

At the base of my coral is a spot that is very slimy. Looks like an open wound w stringy things coming out of it. Any ideas what this might be? Ty!

Don't worry about it. Most corals do that. It's a form of sloughing. It usually happens when they are irritated. Once they get comfortable, it will stop completely. They also usually do it when there is sand or other stuff stuck on it.
